Fitting Mental Health Into Your Budget
We accept most insurance plans as well as FSA/HSA cards and credit/debit cards
Mental Health & Career Coaching Are Essential
Amy’s Counseling Service, LLC is committed to helping you access the care you need when you need it. We are constantly looking for ways to improve access to care and resources while maintaining a sustainable practice for our clinicians.
Health Insurance Accepted
Most of our clinicians accept Anthem, Carelon (Kaiser’s mental health carrier in Colorado), Optum, Cigna, UnitedHealthCare, and all Medicaid, and Medicare programs. Currently, UnitedHealthCare tells us that they aren’t allowed to let us bill for their Medicare Advantage plans, but nobody else has said that, so it appears to be unique to them. We hope that changes.
Verify Your Benefits
It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help. We appreciate that therapy represents a large investment in terms of time and money. This is why we submit all claims on your behalf. However, we do not have a dedicated billing department to verify benefits. Before beginning therapy, call your insurance company and ask if your deductible needs to be met before insurance covers a portion of the sessions. Also, ask what your estimated liability will be for CPT code 90791 and CPT code 90837. If you choose not to call, our clinicians can provide the high estimate based on our contracted rate with the insurance company. These rates are subject to change. We do our best to notify clients of any changes as soon as possible. Unfortunately, insurance companies aren’t the best communicators.
Sliding Scale Options
All of our interns and practicum students accept clients interested in receiving services on a sliding scale. Pricing depends on your situation and the clinician’s availability. The terms of your sliding scale agreement may be revised every quarter to ensure all information used to determine eligibility is current.
